The Story
Forget everything you thought you knew about the Wizard of Oz. Wicked tells the story from the perspective of Elphaba, the misunderstood green-skinned girl who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West. The musical explores her unlikely friendship with the bubbly blonde Glinda, and the events that shaped them both into the characters we know from the classic tale.
